Assistant Athletic Director for Athletic Communications, Jacksonville University Athletics

June 2021-present

  • Ascended to leadership role within the athletic department, overseeing the seven person Athletic Communications department and serving as co-chair of the External Engagement team within athletics

  • Continued as "Voice of the Dolphins" while serving as the primary contact for men's basketball, baseball, men's and women's golf

  • Hosted the weekly "TRUE Talk with Coach Mincy" men's basketball radio coach's show

  • Led search to fill four positions within the department for the 2021-22 school year

  • Oversaw the implementation of the Falcon platform for social media management 

  • Part of the team that vetted and executed the use of the INFLCR platform for student-athletes to use for NIL purposes

Earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications with a focus in Electronic Media and a minor in Media Studies

 

Skills

Ten years of radio and television play-by-play experience at the collegiate and high school level. Speak professionally to groups both in an instructional and representational capacity. Can host, engineer and produce live and prerecorded radio shows. Trained in editing audio and video using Final Cut Pro, Adobe Audition and Premier and Audacity, as well as certified to use JVC and Panasonic HD cameras. Adept in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop. Experience managing social media accounts such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube. Comfortable on PC’s and Mac’s. Microsoft proficient. Write and edit in AP Style.
